Rifle Cartridge Case
 
Case dimensions are standardize for each caliber. Although there might be some slight design differences between manufactures. Cases are made of brass, aluminum, and steel. Most aluminum and steel cases are Berdan primed. Therefore not suitable for production reloading. A case is machined from one solid blank. It consists of a head, rim, primer pocket, flash hole,extraction groove, web, body, shoulder, neck, mouth. It is DANGEROUS to mix reloading data for one specific load with another.
